Paul Testa Architecture

Paul offered to help us out with printing flyers and posters to spread the word of our campaign – these combine photos taken by Radventure (see below) with Chris’s design. A very generous offer of help!

Paul runs Paul Testa Architecture, a Sheffield based firm focusing on environmental sustainability and Passivhaus work. Not something directly related to mountain biking and the outdoors, but Paul has supported the work of Ride Sheffield from the very early days – showing how businesses can help to improve our local environment for recreation. Radventure (Dave Anderson and Sim Mainey)

Sim and Dave kindly offered to feature Cut Gate as a writeup and image gallery on their website, They also kindly allowed use of the photos in our other promotional material, you’ll find them on this website too.

Magic Rock brewery

Before the Mend our Mountains campaign launched properly, Rich at Magic Rock approached us to ask if we’d like to feature as part of their annual Bike Day. We briefly outlined our plans, sharing photos from the Radventure photo shoot. The event raised over £700, kicking off fundraising in earnest!
(tasty beers, brewed in Huddersfield – not far from Cut Gate!)
